Friday night I got home from work and heard a loud bang and originally had thought it was a neighbor's house. I went to the garage to check and didn't notice anything out of the ordinary. It wasn't until the following morning on Saturday, that I had realized something looked off with the garage springs. It had snapped. I spent the afternoon doing some searches and after reading various reviews, got in touch with Matt, the owner of MC Garage Doors. He was able to respond on the same day. He had another job that required a little more time so he showed up despite it being late at 9pm. Once he had done a thorough assessment of the issues with our garage door. He had noted that the wire was fraying and identified a bracket that was actually not even attached as the bolts have flown off somewhere. Really not sure how this happened. This was on top of the broken spring. I trusted Matt on his assessment about what needed to be done and we were able to come to an agreement with the price. He came early the following morning on Sunday to do the job. I watched the whole process from start to finish. Matt was very detailed making sure everything was balanced and aligned properly. Some of the bolts the original contractor had used were actually too short and some even loose. He replaced these bolts with longer ones and ensured everything was secure.
